Remember the Brad Pitt/Gwyneth Paltrow movie ‘Se7en,’ in which a murderer killed his victims according to their vices, or “seven deadly sins”? Well, now Forbes.com has come up with an amazing and amusing ranking of US cities by lust, envy, avarice, gluttony, sloth, pride and wrath. They’ve used mesmerizing methods to measure these metropolises – for example for pride, or vanity, they counted the number of plastic surgeons per capita, and you will be amazed to find out which city ranks first – believe it or not, it’s not Los Angeles or Miami. Getting Ready for Rachael Ray

A couple weeks ago a field crew from Rachael Ray’s daily show on CBS came out to Chez Mandell to tape a segment. I’ll be flying to New York on February 12 to tape my studio appearance with the kitchen goddess herself. I signed a non-disclosure agreement, so I can’t tell you exactly what it’s about, but I can tell you the field shoot involved my husband Jim, our Golden Doodle KC working out with me on the treadmill, about 15 wardrobe changes and a dip in the spa.
